We are Christians who come together to worship, pray, study, fellowship and engage in mission. We care about our faith and we care about you. We consider ourselves a family. We are tight-knit and we know each other’s names and do our best to learn yours when you visit. We are a generational church and have folks of all ages. We enjoy all kinds of worship music and you’ll hear hymns, bells, and praise music when you worship with us.
We are Christians who believe in the Trinity (one God, three persons)—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus as the Son of God and that he lived, died, and was resurrected. We believe through Jesus we are offered forgiveness for our sins, a restored relationship with God, redemption for our relationships with others here on earth, and the life everlasting. We believe that the Holy Spirit is God’s presence with us now, that if we ask, it will guide us, teach us, heal us, and inspire us. We believe that God loves each of us more than we could ever imagine and that because of that love, we are forgiven, cared for, and blessed.
We believe God calls us to work on following Jesus with our whole hearts, our minds, and our actions. And as part of that, we are asked to love others (friends, family, strangers, even enemies) even when it’s hard; and to show them the love, compassion, and forgiveness that God has offered us.
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired Word, which was written down by various people throughout history. We believe any of us can read the Bible and that God will speak to us through those words. We also believe that sometimes the Bible is difficult to understand and cannot be taken at face value, and so we offer Bible studies, devotionals, preaching, and discussions to help us understand God’s Word more fully.
We are about loving God, loving our neighbor, and helping those around us. We care if you are hurting physically, emotionally, relationally, or spiritually. We want each person to know they are welcome here. We are about being intentional in our faith by studying the Bible, praying for one another, serving those who are hungry and hurting, and making a positive difference in our community and in our world.
